Fly Fishing and Spin Fishing: Miami - Flamingo, Everglades National Park
Ft. Lauderdale - Palm Beach
Whether you live in South Florida or you are visiting Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Islamorada, the Florida keys, ect., this is the capital of saltwater fly fishing and light tackle fishing. My name is Capt. Mark Giacobba and I am full time guide. I guide fly fisherman and light tackle anglers from all over the world on the flats of Miami to the remote backcountry of the everglades. The waters surrounding South Florida offers up a host of fishing options from Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Bonefish, Permit, Bass and much, much more. The flats skiff I run is an 18 foot Hell's Bay Boatworks with the new 70 hp Yamaha 4-stroke.
Light Tackle Angling and Fly Fishing For
Tarpon Snook Redfish Bonefish Permit Bass
The style of angling that you can expect, be it fly fishing or light tackle spin fishing, is intended to be sporting and most of all fun for the beginner to the seasoned veteran. If you are new to casting be it spin or fly, no worries, I have you covered. This is what guides do and a big part of being a guide. The majority of the fishing that we’ll do is for sport. So, naturally I promote catch and release, although keeping certain fish species for dinner is encouraged.
I purposely tried to keep the verbage short and feature the images and videos of the places, fish and wildlife that you will see! So, enjoy browsing the site and keep in mind this only gives you a small window of what is available and by no means did I intend to answer all your questions here. This I would like to do personally via phone or e-mail and to ultimately welcome you aboard!
All the best,
Capt. Mark Giacobba
I respond to all e-mails and calls daily. If I am fishing that day you will here back from me after 4:00 pm. EST
